Our friend Mr. Rooster. They are everywhere in Kauai: the airport, the beach, parking lots, on the sides of the road, I mean EVERYWHERE. It was like seeing a stray dog running around, except in Kauai they are roosters. The story is that domestic chickens and roosters were freed from their cages during Hurricane Iniki back in 1992 and have been breeding ever since.
